IHK expertise according to § 34a GewO
The examination of expertise in accordance with Section 34a of the Trade, Commerce and Industry Regulation Act (GewO) is a legally required certificate for persons who wish to work in the security industry or take on responsible security tasks.
The aim of this examination is to test the legal and technical knowledge required for professional and legally compliant work in the security sector.

Accident prevention regulations for guard and security services

The successful acquisition of expertise in accordance with § 34a GewO enables the owner to work in the security industry and also to set up or manage their own security company.

IHK information according to § 34a GewO
As part of the IHK training in accordance with § 34a of the Trade Regulation Act (GewO), you will receive a comprehensive overview of the most important areas of the security industry in a total of 40 teaching units.

Driver's license & expert knowledge test
We offer the certificate of competence according to § 34a GewO in combination with a driving license in order to offer participants additional benefits.
With both qualifications, security staff can be deployed flexibly – for example in property protection, mobile patrol services or personal protection.
The combination of legal knowledge, professional qualification and driving experience prepares you optimally for practical work and opens up better opportunities for employment, specialized tasks or even the establishment of your own security company.
Admission requirements for our further training courses
In order to participate in our further education programs, participants should meet the following requirements:
- Language level: At least A2 in German to be able to follow the course content
- Valid proof of identity or residence permit: identity card, passport or valid residence permit
- Minimum age: 18 years
These prerequisites ensure that participants can follow the course content well, learn successfully and benefit optimally from the training.
